"The death of a child is the single most traumatic event in medicine. To lose a child is to lose a piece of yourself."

On Friday August 3, 2007 we lost our son, Victoria lost her brother and many people lost their friend Shawn. Gone with no good bye but, never to be forgotten.
For those of who knew Shawn, we were the lucky ones. Shawn was an outgoing young man that you could always count on. Shawn would do anything for family, friends and even a stranger in need. Shawn loved his sports throughout his childhood and it carried through his school years and even after graduating High School he continued playing a lot of Golf and Ice Hockey.
In honor of Shawn's memory we have created this web site and we have a Scholarship in Shawn's name that is presented to two (2) Bellingham High School Graduates each year.
This Scholarship was funded through one (1) Golf Tournament every year that was held on Shawn's Birthday, June 5. Regardless of what day of the week it may have fallen, we would come together on that day to remember Shawn. None of us can make the phone call to Shawn anymore to wish him a Happy Birthday but we can and did get together and share a story or two on this day.
The Golf Tournament was hosted by Shawn's parent's Mike and Joanne, sister, Victoria and friends Jay Scenti, Jim Fahey and The Perron Family.
